Hi everyone, we are planning to expand the product range on The Wildlife Community, either with new products we manufacture or existing products from others (no point reinventing the wheel if they already exist and are proven!).
Are there any products that you can think of that you’d like to be able to source from TWC? I have a few ideas along the lines of pond dipping kits, flat pack mammal footprint tunnels, moth traps, bat detectors, loupes and microscopes, pooters and pots etc.
Moth traps will be brilliant. I managed to get one from a fellow Gloucestershire Moths Group member, but they are so difficult to get hold of and so so expensive so if TWC could have a range from cheap to expensive that would be great. Love the idea of pond dipping kits. One thing I use in my Nature Club, is UK company Baker Ross ‘Craft It’ products which are natural wooden/ply make it yourself kits for children, so butterfly house kits, bird feeder kits, bird house kits, insect hotel kits etc where the children construct the pieces as a craft product and decorate them and then use them out in the garden. It may be a great way of getting young children involved in nature conservation and observation by including craft projects they can make and have a direct hand in constructing before they are put out for wildlife?
